Hotel Dunav

Serbia

Smack on the Danube, the flower-draped Dunav is a good all-rounder, with comfortable large rooms (though slightly dated bathrooms), a sauna, outdoor pool, huge entertainment room and a terrace restaurant that's worth a visit in its own right. The management can assist with day trips, wine tastings and boat trips.

Note that the restaurant is a popular location for wedding parties on the weekends, so this might not be the best choice if you're looking for some peace and quiet in the evenings.
