A family-owned villa tucked away deep in a pine forest near the banks of the Danube, Dunavski Raj gets a gold star for location. Lovely hosts, organic breakfast, swings, hammocks and large terraces for each room all conspire to keep you in this secluded spot. The downside: small, slightly dated bathrooms and no air-con. If you're not driving, catch a taxi from Golubac.
