Deil's Cauldron

Housed in an 18th-century cottage with low ceilings, exposed stone walls, polished wood tables and plush red upholstery, this place – named after a local waterfall – oozes warmth and hospitality. The food is warming, too, offering classic Scottish produce such as beef, smoked salmon and haggis with the occasional Mediterranean twist. The Sunday lunch menu includes roast beef and haggis.
