Run with a friendly can-do attitude, this is an excellent haven of Highland hospitality on the main road right by Loch Duich. Superior rooms are particularly nice with great views and king beds. There's also a simple hostel-style lodge for hikers (linen is an extra £6.50). Tasty bar meals (£13 to £22), including local venison and seafood, are available.
Planned refurbishments will add new bedrooms in the garden and will also likely close the restaurant for a while; phone ahead if you're relying on a meal. The hotel breakfast is very expensive if you're in the lodge, but there's a simple kitchen.
