Mary's Thatched Cottages

These thatch-roofed dwellings (each sleeping two to four people) by the roadside as you arrive in Elgol from Broadford must be the island's cutest accommodation. Four beautifully reconstructed stone cottages have been designed with modern comforts in mind – the stone slab floors have underfloor heating. Minimum stay is three nights, Friday to Monday; book as far in advance as possible.
