Belford Hostel

An unusual hostel housed in a converted church. Although some have complained about noise – there are only thin partitions between dorms, and no ceilings – it's cheerful and well run, with decent facilities, and about 20 minutes' walk west of Waverley station. If you're arriving by train from Glasgow or the north, get off at Haymarket station, which is much closer.
