When it first opened, the Sky Shopping Mall was the designer mall outlet, home to the likes of Harvey Nichols. But in a country where building shopping malls is akin to a national pastime for wealthy billionaires, a refurbishment here is underway, as are plans to start hosting major events, as the mall aims to regain its former crown as Riyadh's designer central.
