Amahoro Guesthouse – Red Rocks

Rwanda

Run by the excellent Amahoro Tours, Amahoro Guesthouse is the best budget place in town. The rooms are painted in bright, primary colours and there's a fresh, young feel to the place. There are three doubles with private facilities, two three-bed rooms that share a common bathroom, one four-bed dorm and two tents in the diminutive garden.

The guesthouse is unsigned – but you'll find it tucked behind a green gate in a house with a green roof.
