Iris Guest House

The Iris is a popular midrange guesthouse in Kigali. Although the furnishings in the 17 smallish rooms have seen better days, this place has that certain something that travellers can't get enough of. In short, it's a combination of friendly staff, good food (the attached restaurant specialises in French-influenced cuisine) and quiet, well-tended rooms. The pleasingly leafy little garden is another plus.
