Head and shoulders above much of the competition in this price range, this homely hotel has large and rather classically styled rooms with wood furnishings and quality beds. It's in a smart part of town (but it's a long way from the city centre) and there's an on-site restaurant. The small swimming pool at the back of the garden is another nice touch.
Most rooms have air-con. If you're a light sleeper, ask for one of the five rooms in the building that opens onto the pool. Discounts are common.
