Alliance Hotel

A short stroll from Ploschad Vosstaniya, the Alliance is a small, well-maintained hotel that has carpeted rooms with tall ceilings, spotless bathrooms and pleasant extras (mini-fridges, tea and snacks available around the clock). Its deco light fixtures and lacquered furniture somehow channel a bit of old Soviet classicism. The service is friendly, though staff speak limited English.
