The impossibly ornate 'Golden Barrel', with its stained-glass cupola and painted stucco work, dates to 1892. Though there are more complex dishes on the menu, most punters seem to come for the pasta and pizza (14 to 23 lei), the live music at weekends and the stunning surrounds.
