Sugar and Spice

Owner Saleh Alayan launched Sugar and Spice after looking for good carrot cake and failing to find any in Qatar. His deliberately chintzy place resembles a country kitchen. The sweet treats on offer are good, but the breakfasts are even better, including eggs benedict, waffles, beetroot shakshuka and Lebanese scrambled eggs. Burgers and sandwiches are also on the menu.
