Tres Sirenas

Top choice in Rincón

A stone's throw from two of the bigger, more luxurious hotels, Rincón's best B&B is certainly one of Puerto Rico's finest. True indulgence beckons at this tranquil end-of-street detached house, from the freshly brewed coffee in your room to the lovingly prepared breakfasts served to all guests on their private terraces (with views out to the glimmering ocean).

The thing that really sets Tres Sirenas above the plethora of competition is taste. Thoughtful touches such as cabana beds, waffle bathrobes, shell-filled lamps and wicker octopus decorations might not be the priciest furnishings, but they propagate an air of maritime refinement throughout.

The rooms, with heavy wood furniture, are exceptionally spacious and have lofty ceilings; the penthouse has a 40ft private balcony and a Jacuzzi. There is a pool, too, or you could walk through the garden gate and onto a divine stretch of sandy beach.

The wonderful hosts can put you in touch with all manner of local activities. Rates increase in busy periods, when there can be a five-night minimum stay.
