Coconut Palms Guesthouse

Rincón

Sandwiched between Rincón’s upscale southern resorts lies this unpretentious guesthouse in a residential neighborhood just off Hwy 115. The Coconut’s best feature is its fern-draped and bird-filled courtyard along with its lovely setting right on a calm, nonsurfing stretch of beach. It has a number of adjoining rabbit-warren rooms, many with pull-out futons and little lounge areas.

Paper-thin walls mean noise from other guests can travel. It's on a par comfort-wise with Rincón's better hostels, but not superior to them.
