About a dozen houses sleeping two to eight are available for tourist accommodation in Parque Nacional Peneda-Gerês under Portugal's Turismo de Aldeia (village tourism) scheme. Three of these are in Soajo. Each of the houses has a fireplace or stove (with firewood in winter) and a kitchen stocked with breakfast food, including fresh bread on the doorstep each morning.
Book through ADERE Peneda-Gerês in Ponte da Barca or directly through the Casas de Soajo website.
