In the heart of town, the friendly Hike & Surf Lodge offers bright, well-maintained private rooms and six-bed dorms. You can arrange surf lessons and hire gear (surfboards, SUP boards), and it's a good place to meet other travellers. There's also an outdoor space and a communal kitchen (with coffee and tea always available).
