Bao's Taiwanese Burger

Miragaia

Porto’s first Taiwanese establishment opened its doors in 2017 after a local fell in love with the cuisine after a trip to Asia. The space is bright and modern and you can watch your fluffy burgers being whipped up in an open kitchen. Choose from fillings such as soft pork belly, crispy crab and the ever-Portuguese bacalhau (dried codfish).

The buns are small so you might need two or three to top you up, and you can side them with Cajun mandioca chips, cheesy fries or a rice bowl. If you’re feeling lazy you can get your bao buns delivered.
