Casa Carolina

Miragaia

Occupying a prettily tiled 19th-century building on Porto’s shop-lined Rua do Cedofeita, this charming little B&B is surprisingly peaceful and furnished with understated taste. Beams, whitewashed stone walls, high ceilings and French doors emphasise original character, light and space in the wood-floored rooms. Breakfast, served in the garden when fine, includes fresh pastries and juice, eggs and fruit.
