Bordallo Pinheiro Shop in Lisbon

Loja Bordallo Pinheiro

Lisbon

All the colourful and sturdy crockery at this official shop carries the quality stamp and aesthetic of 19th-century ceramist Bordallo Pinheiro (you can also pick up items at A Vida Portuguesa and Vista Alegre in Chiado). Look for the ceramic snail bench outside the shop.

Cabbage leaves, swallows and bright sardines are some of the designs sought out by visitors looking to take home an original piece at a reasonable price. There are limited-edition and break-the-bank pieces as well (we dig the huge red fish and the €2275 Cape Lizard!).
