House of Eleh

Marquês de Pombal & Around

Eleh is one of the world's oldest makers of women's shoes (from €200), knocking out exquisitely handcrafted footwear since 1840. Today, eighth-generation cobbler Helena Amante runs the show, producing culturally themed, limited-edition kicks like Indo-Portuguese-patterned summer flats and winter boots wrapped in Alentejan manta (a blanket-like material), among others. There are made-to-measure options as well.

With these unique designs on your feet, you're nearly guaranteed nobody else is going to being stepping on your toes (with the same shoes, anyway)!
