Four Seasons Hotel Ritz

Marquês de Pombal & Around

Anyone familiar with Four Seasons is surely accustomed to the brand's consistent commitment to service and luxury, but few would've seen a workout facility such as the open-air rooftop fitness track that graces the top of this 282-room Lisbon landmark. What a run with a view!

This modernist stalwart was built on dictatorial orders from Prime Minister Salazar in 1959 and, in addition to the usual Four Seasons accommodations and amenities, it's home to one of the largest and most important private collections of contemporary art in Portugal.
