Pousada do Juventude

Lisbon

This government-owned hostel lacks soul, but facilities are decent, including the modernish rooms (but institutional-evoking bathrooms), social common areas (outdoor patio, cafe and day lounge) and friendly staff. No towels are provided for dorms, so bring your own. A 20% discount is available to European Youth Card holders, and cheap three-course meals (€6) are served.
