A short toddle east of the Mosteiro dos Jerónimos, this 17th-century guesthouse has 80 spartan but modern rooms – some have floral fabrics, newer rooms don't – with tiled floors and decent bathrooms. Corridors are a tad dark, but azulejos and potted plants add a homely touch.
There is no breakfast, but you're steps from the pastries of Antiga Confeitaria de Belém. It's a holiday, right?
