Old Pharmacy

Bairro Alto, Chiado & Cais do Sodré

True to its name, this dimly lit space was once a pharmacy, its backlit built-in cabinets now lined with dozens of Portuguese wines. There's outdoor seating and a more grown-up vibe than most other Bairro Alto spots and, with around 120 wines by the glass (€2.20 to €11), it's pretty ideal for tasting your way through a wine region or two.

There's a small menu of cheese and charcuterie plates to chase all that vinho.
