Ulysses Speakeasy

Alfama, Castelo & Graça

This microscopic watering hole might be small in size but it sure is big on bourbon: Canadian-Portuguese connoisseur Manuel Barreira harbours Lisbon's best collection of Kentucky's home-grown spirit, around 60 in total, including the full range of hard-to-find Pappy Van Winkle, the Buffalo Trace antique collection, limited release Blanton's and Four Roses Small Batch, among others.

There's also a wealth of Canadian and other rare and antique spirits, six taps of select craft beers, good espresso using well-travelled beans such as those from Jerusalem roasted with olive-tree branches, and an expansion/microbrewery was planned at the time of research.
