There's something to be said for a grandmotherly type serving up her home hooch ginjinha (cherry liqueur; €1) out of a plastic pitcher from the window of her Alfama home. There are no set hours – knock on the window. It's a favourite stop of Lisbon group tours and doesn't match the quality found in Baixa's historic ginjinha spots, but it's still charming.
