Entering the stained-glass-draped and palm-covered entrance hall of this hidden 20th-century mansion is akin to making a discovery. Built by Brazilians in 1907, it's rife with ornamental stucco, figurative reliefs, murals and carved works and employs an eclectic potpourri of styles (neo-Arabic, neobaroque, neoclassical and medieval-inspired touches abound). Sleeping in one of the six regal suites will leave you feeling like an aristocrat.
