Tasca Torta

Óbidos

A pleasant hum, appealing aromas and colourful plates sum up this stylish, contemporary spot. There's a cosy line of tables down one side, a kitchen on the other, and black-and-white photos of Portuguese fishermen. Everything from delicious salmon and spinach lasagna to a trilogy of seafood (salted cod, octopus and fish) pleases palates. Delicious starters are arranged on a slate plate.

It's very much the 'in' place but with good reason.
