Hotel Astória

A city landmark since 1926, the Astória’s art nouveau facade contemplates the river and Largo da Portagem. Inside, it's all a bit dated and many of the old-fashioned rooms could do with a makeover. However, there are some fine views to be had, the location is excellent, and the staff is helpful. Wi-fi in the lobby only.
