Right on the beach in Calheta, this superb, all-inclusive resort is the best spot on Madeira for a care-free family holiday. The beach is outside your door, as is the pool, there's a supermarket opposite and several eateries on the premises and around about. The only downside is that you'll definitely need a hire car if you want to travel anywhere else.
