Hotel Ambasadorski Rzeszów

Carpathian Mountains

This smart four-star hotel occupies a beautifully renovated 17th-century townhouse at the back of the Rynek. The modern rooms don't match the exterior's aesthetic appeal, but are plush, comfortable and acceptably quiet. There's a superior restaurant serving steaks, burgers and Polish favourites, and an adjoining coffee shop, Cukiernia Wiedeńska, that offers very good ice cream and cake confections.

Check out the cellar bar, which has windows and glass doors looking into the network of old cellars beneath the Rynek.
