It’s surprising where some of Poland’s communist-era milk bars have survived – this one is right on the main tourist drag. However, Neptun is a cut above your run-of-the-mill bar mleczny, with potted plants and decorative tiling. Popular with foreigners on a budget, it even has an English menu of Polish favourites such as naleśniki (crêpes) and gołąbki (cabbage rolls).
Service is gruff but efficient.
