Ojców Castle was deserted in 1826, and has since fallen into ruin. The 14th-century entrance gate and octagonal tower are original, but there’s little else to explore. The view of the wooden houses scattered across the slopes of Prądnik Valley is worth the effort. Access the castle via a steep trail from the PTTK car park.
