Mercy Brown

Top choice in Kraków

This hidden bar shows just how far word-of-mouth goes. It's not easy to find – nevertheless, it's so popular you need a reservation to get in. The allure is obvious: a taste of the 1920s, with low-lit chandeliers, plush armchairs and a long bar stacked with liquor. Monthly burlesque shows, jazz concerts and artistically made cocktails make this a unique experience.

There is no sign outside. Enter Smakołyki and go straight through to what looks like a cloakroom with an attendant who will check your reservation and lead you down a passage to the bar.
