Located in a sturdy-looking, 19th-century, red-brick townhouse, the Maksymilian represents good value. It's an easy walk to the Old Town as well as the bars and restaurants of this trendy part of town. Karmelicka is a busy street, but the hotel is located in a courtyard, which cuts down on noise. The rooms are scarcely cutting edge, but are cosy.
