The Balthazar opened to strong reviews in early 2019 for its bold design, cleanliness, location close to Wawel Royal Castle and very good food, including at the in-house Restaurant Fiorentina. The rooms and lobby areas are a riot of colours and patterns, with each space uniquely designed to highlight period details.
