Junk

Kuching

Filled to the brim with antiques, this is the middle of a complex of restaurants and bars – each with different names – housed in three 1920s shophouses. The Junk has a busy kitchen and the food here is very good and the portions generous. Expect anything from pizza and pasta to fisherman's basket and rib-eye steak.

Stretching either side, and part of the same business, are The Barber, with a great bar out the back; Junk Bar (karaoke); The Wayang, with live music 10pm Friday and Saturday; Thai restaurant Cha Bo; and Chinese fusion at Bla Bla Bla.
