Slovak National Theatre

Bratislava

The national theatre company stages quality operas (Slovak and international), ballets and dramas in two venues: the neo-Renaissance decoration of the landmark Historic SND is a show in itself, while the modern New SND has a cafe and guaranteed English-speaking reservation line.

It's possible to snap up tickets for as little as €4 to €8; most hover around the €15 to €25 mark, though there are pricier seats for almost double.
