Despite the less-than-promising location (across the bridge from the old town and next to the bus station), this is one of Mérida's top tables. Everything's good, but it's most famous for its rice dishes. You'll need two to make up an order, but half of Mérida will happily be your friend if you ask them to eat here.
The same owners run Sybarit, which is great for tapas, especially outside near the Arco de Trajano on a warm, summer's evening.
