This selection of pinewood log cabins, with decks and composting toilets, as well as khullu yak fibre and wood-floor tents, is very scenically located by a river in the Sangke Grasslands. It's certainly an attractive, pastoral and quite luxurious proposition, though prices are almost as high as the altitude. The camp is full board, with a menu that draws on local and seasonal ingredients.
Rates peak between June and August and are around 20% cheaper in May, September and October.
