In 2017 the Kimpton Seafire entered the scene on Grand Cayman as its tallest structure of all time – and certainly its most fabulous. The chic lobby gives a nod to Caymanian culture, with local art on display – and even a catboat suspended from the 20ft ceiling. The 266 sumptuous rooms of varying size and style feature expansive windows with panoramic views.
An enormous spa houses a Turkish bath and co-ed Jacuzzi, and Mediterranean-inspired restaurant Ave contains yet another restaurant, Avecita, with a popular chef's counter. The beach is flawless, as is its dedicated bar-restaurant, Cocoloba, and a kids' camp greatly improves family vacations. The project was the work of Dart Realty Group.
