Sandy Lane Yacht Club & Residences

St Vincent & the Grenadines

Canouan's latest mega project, the Sandy Lane Yacht Club, takes up the southern reaches of the island and is centered around a colorful, faux-Genoese village that feels more than a little out of place in the southern Grenadines. It combines yacht berths with luxurious and well-equipped, if a little sterile, rooms and apartments.

There are also two restaurants on-site and a lovely stretch of beach across the inlet in addition to the only supermarket on the island. Among its main clients are uber-wealthy yacht owners who fly in on their private jets to the neighboring airport to rendezvous with their vessels for a quick cruise around the Tobago Cays.
