Rover Hostel

Eastern Taiwan & Taroko National Park

Lanyu's hippest hostel features a black motorbike as part of the decor in a common room which feels more like a bar than a lounge. The dorms are sex-segregated, with lockers (bring your own padlock), but bunks are small and could prove too short for taller guests. Owner Nick speaks great English.

It's the wooden cabin house on the left as you climb the last lane away from the sea in Yuren (Iratay) village. Beds are bookable through AirBnB.
