A remnant of the Ottoman era, this small bridge made of stone could well be the oldest bridge in Saudi Arabia. Measuring 32m across and 6m high, it spans the dry River Abha connecting the historic Al Bastah neighbourhood with Adl Park. The bridge is best viewed from the riverbed, from which the unmistakably Ottoman features of thick arches resting on wide pillars with pointed buttresses can be properly appreciated.
