The original Half Acre on Lincoln Ave got so popular it had to expand to this hulking facility on Balmoral Ave. Now it has become a destination brewery, where beer lovers go to try everything from passion-fruit ales to milk sugar IPAs and chocolate raspberry imperial stouts. It's always a happening scene, especially the picnic-table-dotted beer garden in summer.
The kitchen makes good pizzas and sandwiches, and there's even a kids' menu. Tours ($10) take place on Sundays at 1pm. Note the entrance is through the parking lot on Rascher Ave (which is one block north of Balmoral).
