Behind Bars

Hong Kong

A series of interlinking jail cells in the former Central Police Station, now Tai Kwun heritage complex, have been given a clever makeover to create this quirky bar. Inside red-brick 'Block 15', the whitewashed cells now have mirrored walls and nooks to sit in, while a communal table fills the central aisle where wardens would have once paced.
