Monochrome colours, plenty of light and well-spaced seating give Baltho, at Marktgasse Hotel, the look and feel of an urban-chic brasserie. Attentive staff serve attractively presented dishes with a nod to the seasons – from caramelised octopus with fava beans and olives to ravioli with date tomatoes, and bang bang chicken. Kids get their own table and craft activities on weekends.
The mood mellows later in the evening, with mixologists shaking up terrific cocktails.
