Chef Jimmy, who has worked in some of LA's top kitchens, returned to his Mexican roots to make some of the most gourmet tacos we've ever seen: pineapple skirt steak, tempura oyster, heirloom cauliflower...caramba! Even the tortillas are special, made with squid ink, spinach and a secret recipe. It's deliberately informal, all brick and concrete with chalkboard walls.
They make fresh-pressed juices like the pasión caliente (carrot, habanero, passion fruit, apple, peppercorns and lemon), which you can also order as margaritas.
