In a town with a thing for minimalist cubes, this has to be our favorite. The design-minded digs, which opened in 2016, are the brainchild of local resident and Chinati Foundation board member Tim Crowley. Details and decor reflect fine artisanship, regional history and Marfa-sourced creativity, from the eye-catching art to the spare but inviting Marfa Book Company bookstore.
On-site, the Bar St John bustles beside the lobby, while Laventure lures diners with its innovative American cuisine. Pets are $30 per day.
